Flu vaccine update Published Oct. 22, 2010 WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Public health officials from the 88th Medical Group have received a limited supply of seasonal flu vaccine and will conduct two immunization lines for specific categories of eligible beneficiaries here Oct. 27 - 28. Flu immunizations will be available for pediatric dependent beneficiaries between 6 and 36 months of age on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Bldg. 142 in Area A. Active duty members under age fifty are invited to get their flu immunizations Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. also at Bldg 142, in Area A. The immunizations will be provided first come, first-served until the supply on hand is exhausted. Building 142 is just north of the Passenger Terminal/Base Operations Hangar 206 and is located on the east side of Skeel Ave. Capt. David Stuever, Public Health operations officer, said Wright-Patterson Medical Center has not yet received the bulk of its supply of seasonal flu vaccine for fall/winter 2010. Dependents and retiree's seeking flu vaccinations can receive them at no cost from a TRICARE-authorized provider or at one of the network pharmacies that participates in the vaccination program.
