Motorcycle Safety Day at WPAFB

Two-wheeled fun will be the order of the day at the National Museum of the United States Air Force on May 13 as Motorcycle Safety Day kicks off theĀ 2011 summer riding season.

The event is jointly sponsored by: 88th Air Base Wing Safety Office, 88th Air Base Wing Force Support Squadron, and the Wright Riders.

The day is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Carney Auditorium at the Museum with a safety briefing, afterwards riders will mount their bikes and partake in a base group ride.

For all active duty military riders the event is MANDATORY and highly encouraged for all WPAFB civilian riders

The ride will conclude back at the NMUSAF at approximately 12:30 p.m. for a free lunch and outdoor exhibit including bike and bike gear vendors.
