AFMC and AFSAC partner for 32d Annual International Ball Published Sept. 23, 2011 By Chandra Lloyd 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Air Force Materiel Command will host the Air Force Security Assistance Center's 32d Annual International Ball on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. This year's theme for the formal, black-tie affair is, "Fostering Relationships: Building International Partnerships." "This event gives the Wright-Patterson community the opportunity to acknowledge the great contributions made by our international partners," said Brig. Gen. Arnie Bunch, AFSAC commander. "Wright-Patterson Air Force Base currently has approximately 100 Foreign Liaison Officers, who we work closely with to conduct the day-to-day operations, and this event is just one way to show the officers how much we appreciate them and our partnerships." The ball has been an annual event since 1980 and enhances the camaraderie among personnel within the Air Force Security Assistance Center and our foreign allies. The evening will consist of food provided by the Wright-Patterson Club, dance and music by the Air Force Band of Flight and other local performers. Tickets are on sale until Sept. 27 for $50.
