Air Force full marathon price increases June 2 Published May 21, 2013 By Tiffany Johnson Air Force Marathon Office WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- If you are going to do the Air Force full marathon race, now is the time to register. Prices will increase from $95 to $105 on June 2. "Our full marathon is about 90 percent full already," said Robert Aguiar, race director. "Usually we see a surge in registrations right before a price increase, so we're encouraging anyone interested to register now." The Air Force Marathon 5K, 10K and half marathon have already sold out and organizers anticipate the full will sell out before the price increase. Runners can register for the 2013 Air Force Marathon on the race's website, www.usafmarathon.com. "I strongly encourage all runners to register now if they want to get in," said Mr. Aguiar. "Once we sell out, our only available spots will be with one of our charity partners." Runners interested in a half or full marathon spot on a charity partner team should go to the Air Force Marathon website for further details. The 2013 Air Force Marathon is Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The 5K is Friday, Sept. 20, at Wright State University's Nutter Center. The Sports & Fitness Expo will also be at the Nutter Center on Thursday, Sept. 19, and Friday, Sept. 21.
