IDEA Lab Director and Retired SES Will Discuss Innovation Published June 19, 2013 By Michela Greco 711th Human Performance Wing WRIGHT-PATTERSON Air Force Base, Ohio -- The next 711 Human Performance Wing Chief Scientist's Guest Lecture Series presentation will take place on 26 June from 1000 to 1130 in the Auditorium of Building 441, Area B. This Guest Lecture will focus on innovation in AFRL and will feature Dr. Robert (Bart) Barthelemy. In this installment of the Guest Lecture Series, Dr. Barthelemy will explore innovation in AFRL with stories of personal, team, and organizational innovation in AFRL and in its predecessor organizations. Dr. Barthelemy will illustrate his lecture through experiences gleaned from his fifty years of service to the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Barthelemy is a former Air Force officer and civil service employee who retired from the Senior Executive Service (SES) after more than 30 years of service to the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Barthelemy is the Founding Director of the Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) and the current Director of WBI's IDEA Lab. He has served as a consultant to a variety of aerospace industry companies and federal government organizations in his storied career.
