Col. Christopher Meeker, 88th Air Base Wing and WPAFB commander, administered the oath of enlistment to Air Force recruits. Meeker also threw the ceremonial first pitch before the game. The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight vocalist performed the National Anthem. Tech. Sgt. Devin Clarke, Air Force Materiel Command, was introduced among WPAFB's Outstanding Airmen during pregame activities. Capt. Andrew Fenner, Air Force Institute of Technology, was named honorary captain of the ballgame. Mark Lyle, 88 ABW legislative liaison, was announced as the game’s hometown hero.
