AFLCMC recognizes top logisticians

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Logistics Directorate held its 5th annual awards ceremony recently, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and recognized logisticians from across the AFLCMC.

The annual awards honored individuals and teams who have demonstrated excellence in the field of logistics.

Logistics professionals from Hill, Robins, Eglin, Tinker, Lackland, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Bases, Gunter Annex, Alabama, the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland and Waco, and Greenville, Texas, were recognized.

Cynthia Abbott, the Director of Logistics and Logistics Services and host of the event, said she was very proud of the award winners.

“I am extremely proud of all the individuals and teams that have been honored here today,” said Abbott.  “You are the best of the best.  Your extraordinary accomplishments in the field of logistics is and will continue to positively impact the Air Force’s ability to perform its mission.  Well done!"
