Group offers financial seminar, meeting invitation

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The Miami Valley chapter of Federally Employed Women is offering two free events in April. Both events are open to military, civilian and contractor employees of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as well as their guests, and FEW membership is not required.

 

The events are:

 

  • Financial Boot Camp, April 18, 5-7 p.m., Patriot Conference Room, 4030 Col. Glenn Hwy., Beavercreek. Parking and entrance are at back of building. Presentation by Rafi Rodriguez, Air Force retired colonel and certified retirement income professional, will include discussion of potential and actual hurdles often encountered when planning for retirement and after retirement. It will also include a hands-on financial assessment. Attendees are encourage to bring personal laptops and their dinner.

  • April “30-Minute Meeting” topic will be “Why FEW?”, April 19, 11:30 a.m. to noon, Wings Grill, Wright-Patt Club. Presentation by Mel Bigi, past Miami Valley chapter president and 20-plus year member.
