HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Registration is now open for the Jan. 23 to 27 Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Focus Week.

As in the past, courses will not only be offered locally, but through distance learning via Defense Collaboration Services.

“Using DCS allows AFLCMC to reach numerous geographic locations, enabling us to provide additional offerings to employees,” said Brooke Belickis, Focus Week program manager.

She added that organizers prefer in-person attendance if a class is local to your site.

Once again, there are a variety of courses scanning topics from functional to general areas of interest.

Topics range from “The Role of the Program Manager,” “AFMC Role in Capability Requirements” and “Risk and Issue Management,” to “Introduction to Open Architectures,” “EZSource Overview” and “Hazardous Material Management in Acquisition.”

Visit the Acquisition Now Continuous Learning website at https://www.atrrs.army.mil/channels/acqnowcl/ to see the entire schedule or to register for a course. Step-by-step instructions for how to apply for a class are available at https://cs.eis.afmc.af.mil/sites/PerMan/wkdev/focus/Continuity%20Documents/Applying%20for%20CL%20Courses%20in%20AcqNow.pptx.

Belickis encourages LCMC personnel to participate.

“Focus Week provides an opportunity to increase your knowledge about a subject and potentially gain valuable continuous learning points,” she said.
