  • Gate 1B Outbound Single Lane Closure

    Lane Closure announcement for left outbound lane at Gate 1B, Area B on Friday 25 April 2025 to accommodate underground utility work in support of the new Sallyport Gate.  Local traffic will be shifted to the right lane using cones as shown on slide.  The total closure time for this work will be all day.  See image below for location. 

  • Closure of AFIT Parcourse/Walking Track

    The site east of Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and between National Rd., where the walking track / parcourse is located has been leased to a local developer, Synergy, through an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) Agreement. The site will be a new office park with low-rise office buildings for commercial use.  Site work and construction is scheduled to begin Mar 2025.  A new perimeter fence will be constructed to allow public access to the development.  Once construction begins, the parcourse/walking track will be permanently closed.
