Dr. Stephanie Tompkins, Director, Defense Sciences Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, discusses current research with local scientists during a visit to the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Aug. 11. Tompkins viewed current research trends and activity in Nano tomography, materials characterization, additive manufacturing and the benefits of real-time analytics in development of technology for today’s warfighter. Dr. Stephanie Tompkins, Director, Defense Sciences Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, visited the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Aug. 11 to view some of the on-going research throughout AFRL.
