Next LCMC Focus Week begins July 25 Published July 14, 2016 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. -- The next Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Focus Week is scheduled for July 25 to 29. As with previous focus weeks, offerings include both functional and general training. Courses are available locally and via distance learning through Defense Collaboration Services, or DCS. Focus Week organizers say they try to offer a variety of courses that meet the needs of the workforce and the extension of courses via DCS allows LCMC's numerous locations access to a broader range of subject matter. Some of the courses for the upcoming session include "Acquisition Reporting," "AFMC Role in Capability Requirements," "Life Cycle Sustainment Plan," "Project Management in the Fast Lane," "Should Cost," and "Who Needs a Human These Days?" When a base is hosting an onsite course, organizers request workforce members attend in person. To see this quarter's offerings and to register for Focus Week, personnel should visit the Acquisition Now (AcqNow) Continuous Learning website.
