The senior leader announcement released April 24 named Chief Master Sgt. Doreen Losacco as the next command chief for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. She will succeed Chief Master Sgt. Max Grindstaff.

One of five centers under Air Force Materiel Command, AFLCMC is the single center responsible for total life cycle management of Air Force weapon systems.

Losacco currently is the command chief for the 80 Flying Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Upon her arrival at AFLCMC, Losacco will be the senior enlisted leader on matters influencing the combat readiness, health, welfare, morale, effective utilization and quality of life for more than 26,000 people working at some 75 locations. She will act as the commanders' representative on a myriad of advisory councils, ensure the enlisted force understands policies and directives and strategically map the growth of enlisted leaders through locally developed leadership training programs.
