88th Air Base Wing Strategic Plan: Moving the Wing forward
The 88th Air Base Wing Strategic Plan is designed to focus on four key priorities, along with associated goals and metrics. Since the plan's inception in 2012, we've celebrated many successes! We continue to implement new efforts each year, helping us meet our core mission of strengthening people and optimizing partnerships to deliver world-class capabilities.
It's no secret that in 2014 things are no longer "business as usual." To help meet our goals, we are opening our doors to welcome innovative ideas for community partnerships like never before. We are looking at cost-effective ways to preserve existing resources and update our processes. This year we are unplugging old equipment, reducing energy use and converting to energy efficient heating systems. We are working hard to increase the efficiency and quality of our deployment process, and the support of our Airmen and their families. As our workforce continues to offer excellent service in the midst of difficult challenges, we have renewed our focus on workforce development and improving our workplace climate.
It may not be easy, but such a challenging environment has created an unprecedented opportunity for us to be creative in our operations, while we continually offer strength through support to our Airmen, our tenants, and our business and community partners. We are moving forward, and we invite you to be a part of the journey!
