Mr. Amir Mott is the Director for the 88th Air Base Wing, Civil Engineer Group, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The Group’s mission is to provide facility and infrastructure support to one of the largest bases in the Air Force: 38,000 person workforce; 100,000 persons serviced; over 110 mission partners. Mr. Mott directs a staff of over 650 civilians who are responsible for providing strategic planning, programming, design, construction, fire protection, maintenance, and repair on over 600 facilities (17.9M SF), 9.4 square miles of improved grounds, and 700+ miles of utility systems with a plant replacement value of $14.9B. He also directs a 25-member military Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit that provides emergency response capability and 24-hour standby coverage in support of WPAFB and civil authorities across five states.
Mr. Mott, an Illinois native, began his career with the Air Force in 1997 as an Architect Design/Project Manager. He has since held positions as Program Manager, Chief of Design/Construction, Chief of Planning (Customer Plans) and Deputy Director.
