WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Wright-Patterson Air Force Base leaders took part in Veterans Day tributes across the Miami Valley area Oct. 11, paying tribute to all who served during ceremonies in Centerville, Beavercreek and Huber Heights. Col. Patrick Miller, 88th Air Base Wing and installation commander, was the Centerville event’s featured speaker. Col. Michael Phillips, wing vice commander, spoke in Beavercreek, while the Huber Heights keynote address was delivered by Col. Ivan Herwick, 88th Communications Group commander. The local observances also included performances by Air Force Band of Flight vocalists and ensembles.
