WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Amy Hall, a management information systems and information technology expert for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center headquartered here, was recently recognized at the 2018 Department of Defense Chief Information Officer awards ceremony at the Pentagon.

Hall received the honorable mention distinction for her innovative approach and solutions in providing a large variety of IT support related to cyber security, wireless technology, and training to three program executive offices, and 195 programs worth more than $85 billion.

Some of Hall’s many accomplishments include supporting the migration of Windows 10 – on schedule and within budget – to offices within AFLCMC. She also provided support to facilitate a SharePoint migration spanning 36 sites and more than 500 pages.

“Being recognized was very humbling and the pinnacle of my career,” said Hall. “But I stand on the shoulders of everybody that works in my shop. They are the ones who keep things going. They are absolutely superb at providing the kind of support that we need to allow people to manage these multi-billion dollar weapon systems.”

Hall’s supervisor Kristi Gana, Chief of the Operations Management Division (Mobility & Training Aircraft/Tanker/Presidential & Executive Airlift) said that she’s a phenomenal employee.

“Amy is a dynamic leader and forward thinker,” said Gana. “She is extremely reliable and I trust her with any project large or small. Her efforts have paid huge dividends for this organization and she is an incredible asset to the Air Force and the Department of Defense.”
