Registration for inaugural basketball clinic for girls is open

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- An inaugural “Girls-n-Hoops” basketball clinic for girls ages 9 to 12 is being presented by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Youth Basketball on Thursdays in May from 6 to 8 p.m.

 

Cost is $40 and the deadline to register for the clinic on May 4, 11, 18 and 25 is April 14. A clinic T-shirt and ball are included. Sign-ups are at the Youth and Child Development Complex located in The Prairies.

 

The clinic will be held in the complex’s gym. Entrance is through the rear doors.

 

Clinic highlights will include fundamental development, offense/defense, shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, footwork, position and skill work, general basketball knowledge, competitions and more.
