88th Dental Lab solves problem for ejection seat research
The completed dental appliance (right) fabricated by the 88th Dental Squadron Dental Lab incorporates the accelerometer holder (center) into one custom-made and easy-to-use unit for the ejection seat research performed by the 711th Human Performance Wing’s Applied Neuroscience Branch. The unitized device effectively replaces the carrier and holder (left) previously attached to a commercially-produced sports mouth guard which often failed during critical testing.
