Wright-Patterson AFB firefighters validate skills through live training sessions

U.S. Air Force Brice Morgan, 788th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, stands-by, while fellow firefighters, Matthew Holley and Steven McKee, extinguish an aircraft fire, as part of annual proficiency skill training for firefighters, at their training burn pit, May 30, 2017, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The team demonstrated their ability to extinguish aircraft and running fuel fires by using bumper turrets to attack the larger fire and using hand lines to go after spot fires. This helps allow aircraft crew and passengers to egress and for firefighters to rescue others incapacitated by smoke and other fire conditions. (U.S. Air Force photo/Michelle Gigante)
