The eighth annual Freedom's Call 2012 on Friday, June 29, will recognize the contributions of our military veterans, their families and all Americans who support them with a spectacular presentation of flyovers, music, narration and fireworks. The Air Force Materiel Command Tattoo is an annual event hosted by AFMC and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The free show highlights Air Force Airmen and capabilities and is designed to strengthen bonds with neighboring communities.

TIME:       Gates open at 4 p.m.

  • 4:00 p.m.     Gates open
  • 4:30 p.m.     Family Zone and onsite displays open
  • 5:00 p.m.     Opening band takes stage 
  • 8:00 p.m.     Tattoo ceremony begins!!!
  • 9:00 p.m.     Special Guest Performer takes stage
  • 10:00 p.m.   World-class fireworks display

Home at last!
The Tattoo is designed to be a family-friendly, outdoor event for people of all ages.  

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a camera.
 

Please note for security reasons that coolers, backpacks, skateboards, in-line skates and glass bottles, knives and weapons of any kind, to include pepper spray, are not permitted. Pets are not permitted on the event grounds, so please leave your furry friends at home.  Strollers, infant diaper bags, cameras and their cases, small purses and pocketbooks are permitted, but subject to inspection. Refreshments are available for purchase during the event from an expanded number of concessionaires.
