Local community clubs support Wright-Patterson AFB military working dogs

Adair Kamentz with the Clover Canine 4-H Club, Warren County, Ohio presents a donated set of protective goggles, booties and cool vest to Tech. Sgt. Kelly Mylott, kennel master with the 88th Security Forces Squadron military working dog section at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Each donated kit, valued at $300, provides comfort to military working dogs during desert deployments. To date, as a result of the leadership of Springfield, Ohio resident Starline Nunley, 46 sets of protective gear have been donated to deployed military working dog kennels from all military services. Local 4-H club 'adopts' Wright-Patterson military working dogs

Members of the Warren County, Ohio-based Clover Canines 4-H Club raised funds and purchased protective equipment for three miilitary working dog teams deploying from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Here members from the youth club are pictured with Airmen from the 88th Security Forces Squadron military working dog section, including Scott, an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois. Installation Acquisition Center stands up at Wright-Patt

A milestone in Air Force Acquisition Transformation took place July 1 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base with the official opening of the Installation Acquisition Center.
