Dragons and Bees
DAYTON, Ohio -- Members of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center honor guard present the colors during a Dayton Dragon's game here on May 3. NASIC members were out in force as they filled the Dragon's Lair in the ball park. They recieved Dragon's Lair hats and were visited by Heater, one of the Dragon's mascots. The Dragons went on to lose the game 10-7 to the Burlington Bees. NASIC is a tenant unit at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

NASIC's new 21
DAYTON, Ohio -- Colonel Karen Cleary, National Air and Space Intelligence Center Commander, directs the Center to fall out at the conclusion of the NASIC Group and Squadron Activation Ceremony on 15 April at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. In one ceremony, NASIC stood up 4 Groups and 17 Squadrons. NASIC is located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio and prides itself as being the source for air and space intelligence.

Elizabeth Bridges, an Air Force Reserve nurse, University of Washington principal investigator and study overseer; and Maj. Joyce Hale, the base’s medical inpatient unit flight commander, discuss the results of a study involving the use of Meti-man, a human patient simulator, in training nurses. The study showed that Meti-man significantly increases a nurse’s ability to think critically and to manage trauma patients effectively in high stress situations. Providing safer blood products faster to wounded warriors
Staff Sgt. Amanda Winders checks on the platelet donation site of Army Capt. Susan Hawley to ensure the captain's blood is flowing properly while she donates life-saving blood products Jan. 28 at the Air Force Theater Hospital at Balad Air Base, Iraq.
