Retired Korean Air Force member expresses thanks

Retired Korean Air Force Col. Bae-Seok Lee, presents a mediallion and certificate of appreciation to retired Air Force Col. Ernest Craigwell, a member of the 6146th Air Force Assistance Group. AFMC mom, daughter run half marathon

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio (AFMCNS) -- Having just completed the 11th annual U.S. Air Force Marathon's half-marathon race on Saturday, Barbara A. Westgate, Air Force Materiel Command executive director, places a finisher's medal around her daughter, Beth Smith. In turn, Ms. Smith awarded her mother with her own medal. Mrs. Westgate dedicated herself to a 42-week program to train specifically for the race. In the process, she lost 44 pounds, and realized her rededication to wellness. (Al Bright/U.S. Air Force)
