445th Airlift Wing begins training on C-17

The 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio received its first C-17 Globemaster III Jan. 21,2010. The aircraft is on loan from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. A maintenance field training team from Air Education and Training Command will begin training 445th maintenance personnel on this airplane. 445th AW participates in water survival

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Sailors assigned to Naval Air Station Key West, Fla., helped make this year’s water survival training realistic for the 45 reservists from the 445th Operational Support Squadron and 89th Airlift Squadron attending the March 11-12 class.
