Test Tanker II
The Test Tanker II, a highly modified KC-135, visited Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Feb 6. The aircraft is used for aerial refueling support at the Air Force Flight Test Center and as a platform for testing avionics and senior leader communications systems, providing an opportunity for senior leader evaluation during airlift support missions. Air Force bands
Master Sgt. Robert Green, percussionist with the Air Force Band of Flight Wright Brass Quintet, performs a drum solo with the help of a local boy at the Douda School while deployed to Djibouti, Africa. Air Force band members have been deploying to U.S. Central Command areas of responsibility since 2004 to entertain troops and, more recently, to help in humanitarian and outreach efforts in places like Kyrgyzstan and Kenya.
