The Air Force Thunderbirds are lined up and ready to go, July 23, during the 2011 Dayton Airshow at Dayton International Airport, Ohio. The Thunderbirds are the air demonstration squadron of the U.S. Air Force, and based at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jane Hendricks-Vesel, 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group chief nurse, gives a 'thumbs up' as four Iraqi air force medics practice litter carrying May 19. Air Force wins DOD awards
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- An interior view of Building 12’s rotunda. This building is the most elaborate example of art deco design at Wright-Patterson AFB. The building underwent a whole-facility rehabilitation and is a prime example of adaptive reuse of historic structures. Fisher House II
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Fisher House will be held
April 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. Those with base access are welcome to attend the
ceremony. A shuttle service will be provided from the Arnold House parking
lot at 9 a.m. There will be no parking available at the Fisher House. The
10,000 square-foot Fisher House replaces the Nightingale House, and it was
officially opened on April 15. It has 12 bedrooms and 12 ½
handicapped-accessible and ADA compliant bathrooms. (U.S. Air Force
