Over 200 motorcycles hit the streets of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in a group ride during the 5th Annual Spring Motorcycle Event held May 29. The event aimed to inform all base motorcycle riders on safe driving habits. Senior Airman Steven Slocum, 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron security forces member deployed here from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, lubricates a nasopharyngeal airway before inserting it into the nasal passage of a fellow Combat Life Saver Course student here March 2. Performing an NPA was a skill required for course students to receive their CLS certification. Students were required to both administer and receive an NPA on each other. Once CLS-certified, servicemembers are trained to provide immediate care, administer IV fluids to control shock, and perform needle chest decompression for a casualty with tension pneumothorax. Reservist is honored at Air Force Sergeants Association Annual Awards Banquet
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio - Tech. Sgt. Chad Kopf, 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, (center) is the Air Force Sergeants Association Reserve Member of the Year.
