Next Generation Sensor (NGS) prototype system
Air Force Research Laboratory Materials and Manufacturing Directorate teamed up with Northrop Grumman and Universal Technology Corporation in creating a "first of its kind" portable nondestructive evalution hand-held measurement and maintenance sensor system. The ultra senstive system will allow for characterization of material below an aircrafts topcoat.
