Mission Statement

Leads collaborative management of all directorate resources including the development of business and information management processes. Works with other directorate stakeholders at all geographic locations, including Wright Site Operations and AFRL staff. Serves as the central information hub and disseminator for the Directorate and single directorate entry point for command and directorate staff queries. Maintains remote operating locations or negotiates agreements to support geographically separated segments of the directorate.

Mission Statement

Manages the Directorate's networked Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. Develops and implements directorate information strategies, plans, policies, and projects. Analyzes IT initiatives, policies, and tools to determine applicability and impact on directorate requirements and projects. Manages the Directorate logistics program in the areas of tool control; test measurement, and diagnostic equipment; stock plans; electrostatic discharge, vehicle control, and foreign object damage protection to ensure protection of government property, and quality test and evaluation. Manages and conducts the Directorate systems safety programs, ground and flight safety, laser safety, chemical hygiene, and environmental activities. Manages the Directorate mail facility.

Mission Statement

Manages the human resources function for the Sensors Directorate. Provides guidance, tools, and expertise for personnel individual development. Provides policy, guidance, and maintains data on corporate manpower and personnel matters. Works human resource issues in conjunction with directorate management, Wright Site Operations, two geographically separate units, AFRL Headquarters and other directorates. Provides advisory services and administrative support in the recruitment, placement, professional development, and retention of military and civilian human resources. Manages the Sensors Directorate facilities, to include the management and maintenance of real property to support research and development, and administrative functions. Manages real property accounts and equipment to ensure proper accountability and operation. Plans, coordinates and executes facilities plans from minor modifications to MILCON projects.

Mission Statement

Coordinates procurement, financial and operations support services supplied by the Information Directorate to the Sensors Directorate branches located at Rome Research Site, NY. Coordinates Sensors Rome Site strategic planning, business and personnel administration, and communications with corporate headquarters at Wright Research Site.

Mission Statement

Provide security & intelligence research expertise for the Air Force Research Laboratory's Sensors Directorate (AFRL/RY) branches located at Wright Research Site (WRS) Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, and Hanscom Research Site (HRS). Responsible for all aspects of security to include basic 6.1 research to ensure fundamental research is protected and managed properly. Responsible for all intelligence production requirements and intelligence support at WRS. Develops the Directorate's technology protection plan and administers its execution in compliance with directives and regulations.
