U.S. Air Force Fact Sheet AFMETCAL WNMM - METROLOGY APPLICATIONS BRANCH Provides U.S. Air Force PMELs the measurement capability to support the Air Force mission by researching measurement requirements and developing measurement philosophies and concepts. Budgets for and manages PMEL and AFPSL calibration standards acquisition. Also provides technical and calibration consultant assistance for the AFMETCAL Program. Responsible for the oversight of AFPSL operations and development of calibration technical orders. Develops metrology concepts, plans, and programs for countries participating in the Security Assistance Program.
