Headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, the Human Effectiveness Directorate (RH) is one of three mission units within the Air Force Research Laboratory's 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW). It is the heart of human-centric science and technology for the United States Air Force. The Human Effectiveness Directorate joins with the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) and the Human Performance Integration Directorate (HP) to compose the 711 HPW. At the Human Effectiveness Directorate, we're meeting the technology challenges facing our 21st century warfighters.
The scientists and engineers of the Human Effectiveness Directorate are creating the Air Force of the future--turning science fiction into science facts. The men and women of the Human Effectiveness Directorate are responsible for developing the human-related technology for systems crucial to continued aerospace superiority.
