AFPTEF was tasked to perform qualification testing of the SmartVault Container, manufactured by SmartMove, Inc., for the U.S. Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command's (SDDC) approval as a military household goods container. Testing, with minor SDDC-approved modifications, was performed in accordance with SDDC Pamphlet No. 55-12 and ASTM D4169, Distribution Cycle 18 and MIL-STD-810. The final test report was furnished to Smart Move, Inc. and to SDDC for their use in determining final approval of the SmartVault. |
