AFRL/RIB - Strategic Planning and Integration Division
Mission Statement
Communicates the corporate perspective of RI activities to internal and external customers. Manages the Directorate's technical and investment plans. Provides the S&T strategic planning function and analysis / program tracking activities associated with formulation of technical goals and program execution. Represents the primary focal point for fostering integration, transfer and transition of S&T through partnerships and collaborations with Warfighter, Industry, Academia, National and Service Laboratories, and International communities. Leads the overarching governance for the directorate through management of policies, procedures and processes.

Mission Statement
Provides the S&T strategic planning function, analysis and program tracking activities associated with the formulation of technical goals and program execution. Manages the basic, applied and advanced research budgets. Provides staff oversight of externally funded projects and programs, with a view toward strategic alignment and proper allocation of directorate resources to achieve strategic goals. Assesses, researches, develops, and sustains compliance with areas mandated by law and established by directives in addition to mission areas identified by senior Air Force leadership as critical or important to the performance of RI.
