Senior Master Sergeant Anthony C. Weiss is the Enterprise Sourcing Group Superintendent, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Sergeant Weiss is the principal advisor to the group director on all enlisted personnel matters. The group has four squadrons across five operating locations consisting of 429 people and a total contract portfolio of more than $25.3 billion. The group manages enterprise-wide installation strategic sourcing for Air Force bases in the continental United States. The ESG executes existing and future contracting workload managed by its four aligning organizations: the Defense Technical Information Center, Air Force Medical Service, Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, and Air Force Civil Engineering Service Agency. The ESG supports the Air Force mission with six active Commodity Councils; covering $4.7 billion in strategic sourcing spend.

Sergeant Weiss was born in Kankakee, Ill and entered the Air Force in December 1992. After basic training, he was an inventory management specialist and then retrained into the contracting career field in February 2000. He has served in the supply and contracting career fields at various Air Force bases throughout the world and deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. Before assuming his current position, he was on the Air Force Materiel Command Staff developing contingency contracting training plans.
