Colonel Eric T. Fick is the Program Executive Officer for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces; Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. He is responsible for the development, acquisition, integration and sustainment of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and special operations systems. This includes RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper, AC-130, EC-130, CV-22, RC-135, and battlefield air operations, as well as small unmanned aircraft systems, sensors, data links and foreign military and classified programs--a total work force of over 1,300 personnel located at Wright-Patterson AFB and geographically separated locations.

Colonel Fick entered the Air Force in September of 1990 as a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a Distinguished Graduate of AFROTC Detachment 225, Notre Dame, Indiana. He started his career as a logistics plans and programs officer and F-16 mechanical systems engineer at Hill AFB, UT. Colonel Fick then served as a computational fluid dynamics research engineer and flight test program manager at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Later, at Eglin AFB, FL he became the Deputy Chief of the Weapons Test Flight and Chief of Test for the Counter-Air Joint System Program Office. Afterwards, he served as an Action Officer for the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Weapons and as Chief of Air Dominance Branch while working for the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. Colonel Fick then served as Deputy Chief of the Air Force Senate Liaison Office, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Legislative Liaison), Washington D.C. He then returned to Eglin AFB, serving first as the operations officer and then the commander of the 46th Test Squadron. Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Fick served as the commander of the Advanced Combat Systems Group, Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, Washington, D.C. He has logged more than 350 hours in the T-38, F-15, F-16, and other military and civilian experimental aircraft.
