Air Vehicles Directorate Air Vehicles Directorate

The Air Vehicles Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory is the preeminent aeronautical vehicle research and development organization in the world. Our core disciplines are aeronautical science, vehicle control technologies and structures for all atmospheric and transatmospheric vehicles. We develop technologies in these core disciplines from inception through transition to both current and future military aerospace vehicles.  As we like to say at the Air Vehicles Directorate, "The next 100 years start Wright here!"
