WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Do you want to attend your next Defense Acquisition University course in the actual classroom--but only some of the time? Or all the time? Or even none of the time? You now have more options to pick how you want to learn—in-person, virtually or both through hybrid courses.

Select courses now offered in hybrid classroom setting

In a hybrid classroom, students attend sessions at a designated time by connecting virtually or coming to the physical classroom, while the instructor joins exclusively on-site in the classroom.

Advantages of hybrid:

  • Students choose based on their needs. Time away from the work environment allows them to focus on learning, while the ability to switch anytime gives them maximum flexibility.
  • Allowing students to choose how they attend results in a more diverse group of peers, enhancing everyone’s learning experience.
  • Those who might not otherwise be able to attend due to travel requirements now have more offerings to choose from.
  • Those who prefer in-person networking and discussion will have the opportunity to do so.

Upcoming hybrid course offerings at DAU Midwest Region:

  • LOG 3500V-308 (March 13-24)
  • CON 7420V-303 (May 15-19)

To sign up, visit your service/agency registration site and register as you normally do for your DAU courses. For future hybrid classroom offerings, monitor your service/agency registration site or contact: Student.Services.MW@dau.edu.
