Name and rank: Jamie Rowe, NH-2

Duty title: Victim advocate

Unit of assignment: Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, 88th Air Base Wing

What do you do at Wright-Patt?

I support individuals that have experienced sexual assault on their journey of healing and help build a community of allies.

Why are you and your job important to the Air Force and WPAFB?

The SAPR office is bigger than me. My primary responsibility is to provide crisis interventions and ongoing support to clients with the goal of empowering them to know their rights and decide which path is best for them. I strive to raise awareness with prevention efforts and outreach events to communicate that the WPAFB SAPR office is a safe space for anyone – regardless of gender, race or background – to be believed and receive respect, compassion and support.
