WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – In honor of Veterans Day, the Wright-Patterson Exchange will recognize those who selflessly sacrificed for the nation with free challenge coins.

This marks the third year Army & Air Force Exchange Service stores will distribute the limited-edition coins to veterans Nov. 11.

“The Wright-Patterson Exchange is grateful to our veterans who served and sacrificed for our country,” Wright-Patterson Exchange General Manager Adam Shaw said. “The freedoms we enjoy today are a testament to those who raised their right hands and answered the call to serve.”

The coins, which feature an eagle on one side and emblems for all six military branches on the other, are available while supplies last. Veterans are encouraged to contact the Wright-Patterson Exchange or visit the store’s Facebook page for more information.

Since 2020, military resale — AAFES, Navy Exchange Service Command, Marine Corps Exchange, Coast Guard Exchange and Defense Commissary Agency — have joined together to salute veterans through the collectible-challenge coin giveaway.
